How
Angels Forever
began............
This story begins with my Creole Culture and my roots in
Louisiana. The love for dolls and a life-time interest in
crafting and creating also played a major part.
I simply wanted a
life-like doll with my skin tone. After consulting with a
doll maker/artist and placing my order, I soon found myself extremely disappointed with the final product. It turned
out to be nothing close to being what I wanted.
I soon realized that
there was no use in me being upset. I was trying to
understand why things were happening the way they were. Then one day I realized that this unfortunate situation
could be reversed. I was still determined to get my Creole
life-like doll even if it meant “I” had to create it. Doors
of opportunity began to open and I had a clearer vision of
what I needed to do. I continued praying for guidance and
direction in my new endeavor. I had no idea where to begin
nor did I ever think that a simple request, then
disappointment would turn out to be such a blessing.
In January 2004, my
determination paid off. I perfected my own techniques is
creating the Creole life-like doll I wanted. I
began showing my doll and soon learned that I wasn’t the only one
wanting this particular doll. Soon after, my determination
and passion for dolls was known as
Angels Forever
TM.
The
Angels Forever
TM
Collection is never duplicated; each doll is unique and truly OOAK (one-of a kind).
Many hours of labor and love is dedicated to bringing each doll to life. The head and limbs are vinyl and are hand painted to the desired skin tone then brought to life. The hair is micro-rooted and professionally cut. The eyes are set in place, the nostrils, opened and the nails manicured. Each doll is given a name, numbered, tagged, signed, weighed and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. The clothing and stuffed animal or toy for each doll is also hand selected to fit their individual personality. These dolls are not toys or recommended for children to play with. These dolls are collectibles and heirlooms to be cherished for years.

I was born
and raised in New Iberia, Louisiana and have been a resident
of Katy, Texas for 18 years. I am the descendant of a
generation of ancestors that were extraordinary men and
women. I credit my accomplishments and gifted
talents to my parents, grandparents and great-grandparents.
